Our verdict
Amazon’s compact Alexa smart speaker, with clearer vocals and fuller bass than earlier Echo Dots, for music, podcasts, timers and questions.
It plays from Amazon Music, Audible, Apple Music, Spotify and more over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, controls compatible smart home devices by voice, and can pair with other Echo speakers or a Fire TV.
Our verdict: The easy, low-cost way to add Alexa to a room.
