Our verdict
Our verdict: Very fast and backed by a 5-year warranty, but it only makes sense for a high-end build with a Gen 5 M.2 slot; most gamers can save money with a Gen 4 drive.

Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
Samsung’s PCIe 5.0 flagship drive, with sequential reads of up to 14,700MB/s and a 5-year warranty. It’s a premium pick for a new high-end build with a Gen 5 M.2 slot; most gamers will be fine with a cheaper Gen 4 drive.
